They did not stop the police, two people were shot dead in France
View from the scene

Two people were shot dead and another was seriously injured by police last night in Paris.

The incident took place in Pont Neuf, in the center of Paris after Emmanuel Macron was re-elected president of France.

Foreign media suggest that a car went quickly to the police and did not follow the order to stop. For this reason, one of the police officers fired a gun killing two people while injuring a woman, who was sitting in the back seats of the car.

She was rushed to Pitie-Speltriere Hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile it is learned that there was no armed counterattack against the police, but they simply did not obey the order to stop. There is no evidence that the incident is related to any terrorist attack or presidential election.
