The chairman of the New Democracy Party, at the same time the Prime Minister of Greece, Qirjako Miçotaqis, has decided to run two Albanians from Himara for MEPs in the European Parliament.

It is about Pirro Dhima, the famous weightlifter from Himara who left his country to declare himself Greek, where he currently lives and holds high political positions.

Another himarjot, as discussed earlier, is Alfred Beleri, the elected mayor of the Albanian municipality, who is currently in prison, sentenced to two years in prison for electoral corruption.

Both are controversial names, with a complicated past, almost even hostile to Albania, as is the case of Beler, who has been accused of the terrorist attack with the extremist organization "MAVI" at the military post of Peshkpia.

Apparently, Mitsotaqis, whose mother is an Arvanite from Athens, has decided to maintain an extreme attitude towards Albania, but also to challenge both our country and the European Union by trying to send to the temple of European democracy a person with a dark past as Fred Beller.

In a big ceremony during the presentation of the 42 candidates of Miçotaqis, it is reported that Beler's brother and son were also present.

The Albanians of Himara who claim to be of Greek origin are a rare case of "ethnic transformation" that has occurred over the years in Albanian lands thanks to the interventions, propaganda and other occult interests of the neighboring country.
