Kerch Bridge damaged by Ukrainian attacks

The Kerch Bridge connecting the Crimean Peninsula with Russia has been attacked by a series of rocket explosions by Ukraine's military.

From the footage shared on social media, five explosions of varying lengths are distinguished, as well as large plumes of smoke and dust rising from the bridge.

It is reported that the bridge crossing has been blocked, but it is not yet known how extensive the damage is.

This vehicle bridge and a Russian-built railway alongside it serve as an important crossing route for the Russian army, which has under occupation a large part of Ukrainian territories.

This is the first time the Kerch Bridge has been under attack by the Ukrainian military.
