Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has paid a visit to the town of Tetovo, North Macedonia, where he also spoke about the infrastutural project that will connect two Albanian cities.
Kurti said a 6km-long tunnel will connect Tetovo with Prizren. He chose a particular comparison to show how close the two cities can be.
"We have said several times that in heaven it seems that Prizren and Tetova were a city, but when God brought them to earth, the mountains of the land were a city, and the mountains of Thee were a city, and then the mountains of the earth were in the sky.
They have divided the city and made it two cities, Prizren and Tetovo," Kurti said.
This is because the two cities are separated by the Shar mountains, and are about 35 kilometers in the air line on both sides of the mountain. The road from Tetova to Prizren is over 3 hours.
