Israel has begun attacking the Houthi-controlled Yemeni capital, Sanaa, an Israeli official quoted by Haaretz said on Sunday.
Residents told Reuters that the attacks targeted an area near the presidential complex, as well as missile bases.
The Lebanese-based Al-Mayadeen channel reported that at least three attacks were carried out.
According to the Houthi-run Al-Masirah channel, the Israeli military carried out several airstrikes on an oil company facility on 60th Street in the capital Sanaa, as well as at the Khaziz power plant, south of the capital.
The AFP news agency reported that another target of the Israeli attacks was the Defense Ministry building and noted that an unspecified number of people were injured.
The attacks come after Houthi rebels fired a drone and a ballistic missile carrying a crushing bomb warhead at Israel on Friday.
This marks the first case in which Houthi militants have fired a rocket of this type at Israel.
Iran has also used at least three missiles with cluster munitions during its 12-day war with Israel.
A crushing ammunition consists of a warhead that splits into smaller bombs, expanding the area of impact.
The military also noted that it failed to intercept the missile and is investigating the cause of the failure. They noted that the failed interception is not related to the type of missile launched.
