Ukraine and Croatia have agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and Adriatic Sea for exports of Ukrainian wheat.

The news was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba after talks with His Croatian counterpart.

In response to Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea grain deal this month, Croatia expanded an offer to use its rail network and ports along the Adriatic Sea as alternative routes for transporting Ukrainian wheat.

"We have agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea for the transport of Ukrainian grain. We will now work to establish the most efficient routes to these ports and to take maximum advantage of this opportunity," Kuleba said.
