Arms supply to Ukraine, Lavrov: The West is almost at war with Russia

The West is no longer engaged in a hybrid war with Russia. But it's actually involved in an almost real struggle." This is what the Russian Foreign Minister said on Monday.

Sergei Lavrov's reaction comes after the West sent weapons worth billions of dollars to Kiev. The Russian chief diplomat made the comments during a joint statement with his South African counterpart.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Europe's reluctance to send German tanks to Kiev shows that "there is an increase in nervousness within NATO.

"But of course, all countries that participate, directly or indirectly, in pumping weapons into Ukraine and raising its technological level bear responsibility for the continuation of the conflict. The bottom line is that it is the Ukrainian people who will pay the price for all this pseudo-support," he said.
