Turkish special forces start training in Rhodes, Greek media raise alarm
Training in Greece

Greece is concerned about some moves by the Turkish military.

The training of the neighboring country's army is considered a preparation of Ankara to invade several islands in the Aegean.

Turkey has engaged 114 ships and more than 11,000 soldiers since the beginning of the month, in addition to planes and helicopters in this exercise, which is carried out in the framework of the military doctrine "Blue Homeland".

The exercise takes place in the Black Sea and the Aegean, but a recent move by the Turks has seriously alarmed the Greeks. According to the Athens media, Turkey has recently conducted an exercise where, according to the Greeks, the landing on the island of Rhodes is simulated.

The exercise where a group of Turkish army special forces occupies an island was conducted on the island of Yilancik just a few kilometers from Rhodes.

According to this simulation, a part of the soldiers go by diving to the island, others get off a submarine, while part of the landing operation are also helicopters.
