A double murder is said to have been committed today in Kumanovo. According to official information, the suspected author is a 46-year-old resident of Kumanovo.

He is suspected of having killed his wife and mother-in-law, while after the act he tried to commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the building where he lives, but he ended up with serious bodily injuries and was transported to the Skopje Hospital, where he died.

Sources within the Kumanovo police report to the media that the murders were committed under cruel circumstances.

"Around 2:25 p.m. based on the report received, in an apartment in Kumanovo, police officials found dead 40-year-old EAJ (40) from Kumanova and her mother PN, who were previously stabbed to death by 46-year-old DJ from Kumanova (EAJ's husband). Then the DJ injured himself and jumped out of the window. "The DJ was transferred to the Kumanova hospital, where he died," the police announced.

The causes of the serious incident are still unclear.
