The Italian police announce that they have managed to arrest in Giugliano, Campania, a few kilometers from Naples, the boss of the Camorra criminal organization, Luigi Cacciapouti, who has been wanted internationally for some time.

The 64-year-old, who ran the branch of the clan in Villaricca, was "betrayed" by a dog owned by his girlfriend who was meeting him secretly.

Investigators saw the dog occasionally coming out of a half-closed window in a villa, leading them to suspect it was Cacciapuoti's hideout.

An operation was immediately organized, which arrested the most wanted man, who is now in the prison of Secondigliano.

Luigi Cacciapouti had been wanted for several months, as he had to serve a 15-year prison sentence for participating in a criminal organization. Now his escape ended in a villa with a swimming pool, thanks to the action of the police of Castello di Cisterna.
The investigators had surrounded the neighborhood for days and were monitoring it, but they did not know the fixed house. Fortunately, the small dog of the woman who was accompanying the criminal came out the window, thus discovering the much-wanted man.

At the time of the police action, Cacciapuoti was lying by his pool and reading a newspaper chronicle about Camorra activity in Naples. When he was confronted by the police officers, he did not put up any kind of resistance.
