North Korea has registered the first victim of the coronavirus. Health authorities suggest the victim was infected with the Omicron variant of COVID.

Meanwhile, 18,000 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed

Recall that North Korea discovered the first infection with the Omicron variant of COVID the day before. As leader Kim Jong-un ordered nationwide blockade.

Authorities also urge citizens to be careful so that COVID does not spread high in the country, while being advised to respect measures against coronavirus.
