The Kosovo Police announces that today, around 17:00, in Batllavë, Podujeva, the most wanted (I, A,) known by the nickname "Liza" was arrested.

"Liza" was wanted by the police for several years, as a suspect for the crime of aggravated murder.

The police announce that his arrest was carried out, after the cooperation and coordination of various police units, including the narcotics department, which assisted until his arrest.

The suspect was wanted by Interpol on charges of organizing the murder of policeman Triumf Riza.

Arben Berisha was sentenced to 35 years in prison for killing the policeman. Former policeman Triumf Riza was killed in Pristina on August 30, 2007. His murder shocked Kosovo.

Triumf Riza, the distinguished policeman of the then police service of Kosovo, was killed on August 30, 2007 by Arben Berisha, but, according to the court, the murder was instigated by Enver Sekiraqa, Kosovo media reports.

Triumf Riza together with some UNMIK police officers was doing a routine patrol, there Riza stopped a car, while according to the prosecution, Enver Sekiraqa was in the car and this was the first meeting, of many (unfriendly) meetings that he would to follow between Triumf Riza and Enver Sekiraqa.

According to these two witnesses, Sekiraqa, as a difficult guy and with all his reputation, did not receive this arrest by the police at all well, while he threatened the policeman Riza with a hand grenade.

According to the prosecution, the singer Adelina Ismajli, in the story between Triumf Riza and Enver Sekiraqa, had the main role, because she was Enver Sekiraqa's girlfriend and then created a relationship with the late Triumf Riza, which was never forgotten by Sekiraqa.

According to the prosecution, Adelina's association with Triumf Riza gave another dimension to the conflict, because Riza began to be followed step by step, his car was set on fire, he was ambushed, he received many threats.

Another incident that was highlighted in the report between Riza and Sekiraqa was the incident that took place in the "Swiss Casino", a conflict that resulted in a gun fight where there were also injuries, on Christmas 2005.

In this conflict, according to the prosecution, several members of the "Sekiraqa" group were involved, on one side, and Triumf Riza with his companions on the other side.

In the process that started in October 2014 and lasted until May 17 of this year, dozens of witnesses testified, and many of the testimonies before the jury were given excluding the public.

The relatives of the deceased, Shefqet and Visar Riza gave their testimony, blaming Sekiraqa for the loss of their loved one.
