The Serbian ambassador met Milan Radoicic, DASH: For us, he is a criminal!

The US State Department said it is aware of media reports of a meeting between Marko Djuric, the Serbian ambassador to the United States, and Milan Radojcic, who is on the US blacklist for involvement in international organized crime.

"We have a clear position for Mr. Radoicic. He has taken responsibility for the attack in Banjska, through his lawyers. He is a criminal who must be held accountable", says the response of the spokesperson of the US State Department to Radio Free Europe. Serbia, continues DASH's response, must bring to justice those responsible for the attack "perpetrated by paramilitary structures in Banjska, Kosovo, which resulted in the tragic death of a member of the Kosovo Police".

A few days ago, a photo was published on the X social network showing Djuric, the current ambassador of Serbia in Washington, and Milan Radojcic, the former vice-president of the Serbian List, who is on the US sanctions list.

In the photo, they were seen together in a restaurant. It is not known when and where the photo was taken, as well as who is the author.

It is also not known if the photo was taken at the time when Djuric was Serbia's ambassador to the US.

Gjuric himself declared after the publication of the photo that he should not be ashamed of his contacts.

The former director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, was appointed ambassador to Washington in October 2020.

Even the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vučić, briefly mentioned the issue of the photo in a recent press conference, where he indicated that he had preferred not to ask Djuric any questions about it.
