Citizens have organized another protest today under the motto "Justice for Jonada", the 7-year-old girl who was killed by the boat driven by the police officer, Arjan Tase.

Today at 7:30 p.m., the protest called by the protesters who gathered in front of the Ministry of the Interior and the Prime Minister's Office, where they set an ultimatum of 72 hours for the dismissal of the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi and the Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro, has been announced.

It seems that the 72-hour period has already expired and no action has been taken yet. Today the protesters will gather to demand the resignation of the ministers as the main responsible for the serious events that happened this tourist season.

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, have announced that they will support the protesters, as they did on Thursday, August 4, in the march that was held for the minor who lost her life in Potam of Himara.

It is enough to see the Instagram of the Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro, who promotes tourism in the South every day. But Minister Kumbaro forgets that she is not the minister of the South but also of the North of the entire coast and tourism.

It seems that Kumbaro does not take this into account at all in her reaction to the tragedy of Himara, the minister avoided any responsibility from herself.

But why should Minister Kumbaro resign:

Minister Kumbaro in her outings reprimanded the citizens, who left the trash under the palace and did not demand that measures be taken for the speedboats that passed over the heads of the rest.

Why has this ministry or the agencies under supervision not informed the legal authorities to take measures against these phenomena even though the accidents have been numerous.

Safety on the beaches and not only is a priority of all the institutions of our country and for this reason all the institutions must do their duty, but in the case that led to the tragedy of Himara where a 7-year-old girl lost her life, it seems that this work is not it is done.

This was underlined by the General Director of Police, Gladis Nano, in a letter addressed to the Ministry of Tourism, the municipalities and the National Coastal Agency, which have not done their job properly.

We are addressing some questions to the tourism ministry which is headed by the 'minister of the south', Mirela Kumbaro.

Has the Ministry of Tourism, authorizations given, sanctions taken against offenders and staff available to carry out checks along the entire Albanian coast as required by law?

How many thousands more cases of undetected abuse are there today, if the agencies of the Ministry of Tourism have made only 178 inspections?

Are particular subjects being favored by not being punished with fines because of the support they have from certain politicians?

Therefore, the protesters should gather in Skenderbej Square, become thousands and head towards the Ministry of Tourism. There, they should stop raising the banners and shouting 'Kumbaro IK' in unison, these calls should be respected by the minister and she should resign as she did not do her job. Whether she will give it remains to be seen and depends on the protesters.
