Albanians were first introduced to the name of Enver Sheshi in February last year.

At that time, it was the head of the LSI, Monika Kryemadhi, who appeared at a press conference, after having warned of the 'denouncing of a mega-affair'.

The denunciation was related to Fier's fictitious incinerator invoices, for which the prosecution had investigated once and the court had punished once.

Among those investigated and convicted was 59-year-old Enver Sheshi.

But, this detail was overlooked by Monika Kryemadhi. She spoke at length about how Enver Sheshi and the names of several other businessmen, until then unknown, were allegedly part of a structured criminal group that was wreaking havoc with the state budget.

In all that denunciation, which was more than a 'mega-affair' as the people say, 'a mountain was impregnated by a chicken and a mouse', Kryemadhi did not mention the name of Arben Ahmetaj. Ilir Meta continues to not mention his name even today, as the successor at the head of the family party, which has only changed its name on paper.

But why was there nothing new in the denunciation of Kryemadhi? First, the invoices that she made public for fiscal evasion were old, but the former head of the former LSI, even though she was aware of this essential fact, ignored it.

The main goal was political gain before the March 6 by-elections. SPAK later inadvertently became part of Kryemadhi's political game. Even the special prosecutor's office and the court overlooked the fact that the late Enver Sheshi was convicted once for the same charge and for the case of the Fier incinerator.

His efforts through the lawyer before the court fell on deaf ears. Since November of last year, he was kept in a cell, until Saturday, January 7, when he tragically passed away. Someone must be responsible for this death. The main responsibilities are two; firstly, the new structures of justice that blindly 'believed' the political statements of Monika Kryemadhi and secondly, Monika Kryemadhi herself.
