SPAK has in hand the hottest investigative file that affects the high spheres of politics.

The investigation into the incinerators has led to the imprisonment of only one minister, at a time when the process has more names.

One of them is former minister and former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj.

In the SPAK file are the data extracted from the computer of the administrator of the incinerators, Klodian Zoto, who, during the work for the realization of the concession, paid large amounts of money in favor of the private trips of former minister Arben Ahmetaj.

These 5-star hotel bills for Ahmetaj and his partner mostly coincide with weekends.

Regarding these invoices, the two SPAK prosecutors who are investigating the file, have never called Arben Ahmetaj to ask him.

Meanwhile, in similar cases, ex-ministers have been summoned only by a simple note, as was the case of Aldo Bumçi for the "Gërdeci" file.

For this reason, a lawsuit was filed against Ahmetaj and especially against the two prosecutors in SPAK for hiding data.

SPAK then announced that it would send the file of incinerators to the court with accusations against several people, and explained that the lawsuit for hiding the facts was part of another investigation.

But the prosecutors themselves in the document submitted to the court indicate that there is no investigation.

Top Channel asked the High Inspectorate of Justice about this matter, and because there is an investigation, they cannot intervene.

It remains to be seen whether the prosecutor who received the report of journalist Doçi will go all the way to bring former minister Arben Ahmetaj and his two colleagues in SPAK, Klodian Braho and Ened Nakuçi, to justice./TCH
