What questions were missing in Fevzi's interview with Yuri Kim?!

Note : The interview Yuri Kim gave to Blendi Fevziu seemed exhaustive, but it was neither exhaustive nor impartial, and this is not the fault of the US Ambassador in Tirana.

It mentioned issues that have been discussed by public opinion for months and years, about which the Ambassador has said her word on more than one occasion and justice has started investigations. Fevziu gave importance to these, forgetting the issues of the day.

He did not ask the Ambassador about the issue of unauthorized constructions of the oligarchs. He didn't even ask about the many domestic and foreign reports on the laundering of dirty money in this sector. He didn't talk about the source of the money for the oligarchs' villas in the south, or even mention them.

Didn't he ask the Ambassador what she thought about strategic investors and how they are gobbling up coveted public properties from the south to the north of the country and building million-euro resorts and hotels? Where does the money for these resorts come from, even more so in these times of crisis, when Albanians are tightening their belts.

The ambassador was not even asked about the expensive prices and the 'communist' boards as Rama calls them. He was not asked what he thought about the price crisis in Albania, was it only an effect of the international price crisis, or did a handful of oligarchs grab the state by the throat and set the prices themselves?

Why wasn't the Ambassador asked how it is possible that when oil goes down on the stock market, the board meets and raises it, and when it rises, it pretends to lower the price? What about the source of the towers in Tirana, including in the land of Fevzi, why was the ambassador not asked?

How and who built them? Where is the source of the income that was invested and is being invested?

Would it be of interest to Albanian citizens to know the opinion of the US Ambassador regarding the Port of Durrës, behind which Sali Berisha has accused a Serb and Albanian oligarchs?

Pyetjet që Fevziu mund t’i adresonte Ambasadores për këtë temë janë të shumta. A kërcënon sigurinë kombëtare e rrjedhimisht të Aleancës së NATO-s një port i tillë? Po ndikimi serb dhe përmes tij ai rus a e kërcënon vendin?

Si këto mund të ketë shumë ‘Pse’ që mbeten pa përgjigje nga intervista e Fevziut, që përveç të gjitha këtyre kulmoi me përpjekjen e Fevziut për të marrë në mbrojtje Ilir Metën, të cilit i qau ‘hallin se po sulmohej për çështjen e dosjes me incialet I.M’.

Por, edhe sikur Meta e bashkë me të edhe Fevziu vetë të kenë të drejtë në lidhje me këtë dosje, ‘damkosja’ si politikan i korruptuar në tre dekada e Ilir Metës nuk mund të zhduket.

A u fut me apo pa dashje intervista në këtë hulli? Fevziu nuk është naiv dhe as i papërvojë. Më shumë se rrëshkitje, pyetjet e intervistës kanë qenë të mirëmenduara dhe me idenë e qartë; shmangien e temave që vërtet u interesojnë e shqetësojnë shqiptarët.

E thënë më thjeshtë, Ambasadorja e SHBA u shfrytëzua paturpësisht nga Blendi Fevziu për të mbrojtur interesat personale dhe të oligarkëve që është akuzuar herë pas here se ka nga pas, që nga ata që ndërtojnë resorte e vila në jug, deri të të tjerët që ngrenë kulla edhe pa leje në mes të Tiranës.
