Albcontrol opens the 600 million ALL tender for personnel training for 6 months

Albcontrol has opened another tender of considerable value in terms of the service for ' ATCO emergency refresh training '.

There are over sixty-six million six hundred and sixty-six thousand or five hundred sixty-eight thousand nine hundred and nineteen euros, point sixty-one lek that will be given for ' ATCO emergency refresher training '.

The tender has been published on the official website of public procurement, where it is stated that the duration will be only 6 months for personnel training services.

The training will be attended by personnel from Air Traffic Controllers and EUROCONTROL document, each air traffic controller must do at least 4 days refresher training in the simulator for each unit endorsement, depending on operational requirements.

Albcontroll has already opened the competition while the companies must have a Professional License/Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the respective state, which allows the economic operator to carry out training for Air Traffic Controllers, in accordance with the technical specifications of DST.

We recall that in the spring of 2021, the Albanian public air traffic monitoring company Albcontrol became famous for the controllers' strike that led to the suspension of flights over the Albanian sky for several days.

They requested not to reduce salaries, while Albcontrol officials stated that these measures were unavoidable in the conditions when the company did not have sufficient financial income.

But if for the controllers the salaries were reduced and the strike ended, the good administration of public money has not gone in the same direction in terms of procurement./ VoxNews
