Have prices changed on the eve of the end-of-year holidays? Here's what

Even though we are on the eve of the end-of-year holidays, for some citizens the prices of food products have remained the same.

During an observation in several markets in Tirana, it was noticed that each item had its corresponding price displayed.

Citizens say that this situation helps them better plan their holiday expenses.

Meanwhile, pensioners consider prices affordable and say they can only buy basic products.

According to INSTAT, the Consumer Price Index in November 2025 reached 120.1 and the annual change was 2.1%, from 2.0% a year earlier.

The annual price increase was mainly influenced by the group "Rent, water, fuel and energy", while the monthly change marked a decrease of 0.2%.
