There is a simple way and a very short way to stop the "muddling" of Ilir Meta and to clarify whether or not he is a "collaborator of the State Security". This has nothing to do with the advocacy made by the journalists bought by him in public, or others who have similar problems.  

The good thing about this debate is that Albania is watching with voice and figure who is in favor of people with State Security files and who is not. This debate is as important to Albania as the opening of all the Security files. Unfortunately, I have heard the most disgusting statements in favor of the State Security from people who were also imprisoned by the previous regime, but apparently they were handed over to prisons or the investigator, some denouncing the father and some family members. I heard Fatos Lubonja say "even if it's true, it stinks". That is, even if this is a spy, according to Lubonja, we should be silent, as it smells like the fact that they are stirring up shit. 

I have heard other colleagues who say, even if he did it, he did it to protect himself, or weaker lawyers who pretend they don't understand where the rabbit is hiding and say that Ilir Meta was searched several times. 

This is the crux of the problem. Ilir Meta has never been checked. Sali Berisha gave the proof, at the time he cooperated day and night with him against Fatos Nano in prison, while the Bezhani Commission used the clause, that "so far I could not find anything" since this alibi was included in the law. 

After that in 2014, when the new file law was made, Ilir Meta was shocked, and initially tried to stop it, discouraging those who were doing it. After he could not stop them, Ilir Meta through LSI proposed an amendment, specifying that this law cannot re-check those politicians or officials who have received certificates of purity from the Mezini and Bezhani Commission. So simply LSI wanted to stop controlling Ilir Meta. You have the amendment in the minutes of the Assembly. 

Now that Ilir Meta's file is made public, a legal initiative must be taken to remove this amendment. Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha call this a conspiracy against Ilir Meta. 

In fact, it is against Ilir Meta and his similar friends. But if you want this not to happen (that it will happen in the first week of September), there is a simple way. Ilir Meta, as a talked about person, has the right to go tomorrow morning to the authority of the files and I ask the authority to get acquainted with the materials that connect him with the State Security. This removes the barrier for the Files Authority to look around and there is no need for all this debate.

Kujtdo që dikush i thotë spiunë, mund të aplikojë për këtë vërtetim dhe pastaj ti ballafaqoj akuzat në gjyq si të qëllimshme. 

Ilir Meta mund ta bëj këtë dhe shpëton me këtë rast dhe gjithë njerëzit që ka vënë në siklet ta mbrojnë edhe si spiunë të diktaturës dhe si kryetar të partisë së lirisë, dhe si bashkëpunëtorë sigurimi dhe si të djathtë të ri në jetën e tij të dytë politike. 

Deri tani për të Autoriteti ka hasur në një raport bashkëpunimi me Sigurimin e Shtetit. Ilir Meta insiston që nuk ka dosje. Bashkëpunëtorë të Sigrumit të Shtetit janë ata që kanë dosje, ata që kanë denoncuar vullnetarisht dhe ata që kanë bashkëpunuar kundër viktimave të Sigurimit si dëshmitarë të rremë. Nëse Ilir Meta, i cili e ka provën në dosje, nuk e ka bërë denoncimin në cilësinë e Bashkëpunëtorit të Sigurimit por të denoncuesit, kjo është dhe më e rënd, se të kishte qenë bashkëpunëtorë, pasi e ka bërë si njeri që ka bashkëpunuar  me Sigurimin e shtetit me dëshirën e tij, pa u shtrënguar edhe pse faktet që përfliten janë ndryshe. Në atë kohë dhe atë vit, rrallë gjeje student të dilte denoncues vullnetarë.
