Opening negotiations takes Albania out of the hands of Albanian politicians

Anyone who feels upset at the opening of the negotiations has a way of not being understood. She's not talking. Today, as Albania climbed the altar of its marriage to the European Union, these laments of the type "how long we have been delayed" resemble cries of despair.

We know that we have been delayed for dozens of our reasons and the European Union, for our history and the history of the EU, for our identity and that of the EU, and above all because of our leaders and those of the EU.

But today we have reached the day and have no reason to mourn, if we are not desperate to open negotiations.

And there are two kinds of people who express annoyance.

The first and most sincere is Sali Berisha, who in his statement accused the European Union of agreeing to open negotiations with Albania, at a time when "Edi Rama has decided in Albania the full monisation, one-party power, the same as January 1990".

So this treats the opening of negotiations as the European Union's revenge on its political group, and almost says the EU is returning communism to Albania.

This is right, as unlike others, it is the anti-Western opposition of Albania. So he is not in opposition to Edi Rama as an individual or rival, but is in opposition to Albania's pro-Western politics, as he is a "non grata" person in the West.

The entire press under his control has repeated his lament. I saw some televisions controlled by him, who had made long "letters", say that Albania has conquered a foreign power, and not that it has begun negotiations with the EU, and for this is why Eddie Rama blamed it.

On the day we have achieved all our goals towards the EU, such a lament is simply deep despair. That there may be plenty of upset that they're silent, but these people who cry can't hold themselves.

There is another category then that hear this lament of Sali Berisha for opening negotiations, and think they should say some remarks about the delay, do you say that not all Albanians know how late we are in this process, for all the reasons we mentioned above.

Albania's problem is to keep the way west and not surrender, but which will be the long way, we must all be clear.

Albania is not today a better country why it had to be Edi Rama prime minister at the opening ceremony of negotiations. Albania is today a better, safer, westerner country and within its historical family, precisely that it is no longer only in the hands of its politicians.

The opening of negotiations with the European Union takes Albanian politicians out of their hands. They are today for Albania, less sovereignist than in their home.

And when I say Albanian politicians, I have in mind these who are in a line with the European Union. I have in mind Eddie Rama, The Oblast and his supporters, and the whole spectrum of small opposition parties that are pro-European.

I don't know Sali Berisha. He has taken Europe off our list of offers altogether and today he represents Albania's anti-Western opposition. If these others have opposition to Eddie Rama and do well that they have with him, Sali Berisha has with Albania, from now on it is under the sovereignty of the West, which he has declared an enemy.

He has a real and honest battle, but of course he's lost. Others can enjoy it freely. Albania has since joined fate with the West. No one has the power to change the course of history. Neither these who are in power nor those who are in opposition to power.

And those who are in opposition to the West, be careful of their fate!
