I believe you know that for two days the news, or the most watched video in Albania, is that of the bride from Librazhd who was caught by her mother-in-law with her lover. The online media had almost all the same headlines:

"Father-in-law and mother-in-law catch the boy's bride's bed with the lover"

"The father-in-law 'catches' the boy's bride with the lover"

"The mother-in-law catches the boy's mat with the lover in bed"

There is no more concentrated material to show the whole of Albania, our society, in such a short time, in only 42 seconds.

In fact what happened?

The boys go into emigration. They come, get married, leave the pregnant women and leave again. They come, they leave, they come, they leave… once a year and more times. When they come, they happen to find some unaccounted for children, or hear rumors of tribe and neighborhood, what the woman did when he was not home. And then he takes the rifle, kills his wife, his lover (or the alleged one), even the child and himself in some case.

There are a multitude of crimes that have as their source exactly this great social and moral wound. This is Albania, where living is still overwhelmingly dependent on emigration money.

I spent some time looking at the attitudes of the people on this event, of those who make up society, of those who are both prosecutors, judges and bailiffs in such cases. Some accuse the woman of not respecting her husband while he works on the curves. Others accuse the man of running away and leaving the woman alone, and there who knows what he is doing, while the woman is a man and needs the man as well. Others accuse the father-in-law of raping the bride, and others who justify the mother-in-law defending the son's honor from the naughty bride…

Everyone seems to be right.

In this case, the mother-in-law and father-in-law took care that the betrayal did not remain in words, but was documented, with witnesses and film evidence, that the bride had nowhere to play. And this is the rest of the Albanian society that is in this video. Mass ignorance. Think about the scene: The mother-in-law on the phone filming to send the video to the boy, but then changes her mind and sends it to the online media first. The tribe of the man who is called to be a witness and storms into the sin room screaming. The media publish the video and then call on the police to protect the bride.

What a drama in 42 seconds.

In a very short time it is the drama of a people, where economic poverty appears, forcing men to emigrate to support the family, and where women have to wait at the door when the husband returns.

The social plague of the destruction of family and man appears, in all dimensions.

Massive ignorance of those who were at the scene of the "crime scene" and those who dare to watch a sex video appears.

There is a lack of media professionalism that is released after a video like hungry hawks after a dead bird.

In just 42 centuries an entire society appears, degraded to the core.
