Three miniseries  with cannabis were discovered in Kurbin in the 7th phase of the mega-operation for controls in Lezha district, with police teams and drones.

The three mines were found in a wooded area and difficult terrain in the village of Ferr, Shkopet, inside which 280 narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were cultivated.

During the previous 6 phases of this mega-operation, in various villages of the district, a total of 7359 seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed, as well as 3 citizens were arrested and 1 other suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity were wanted.

The Kurbin Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, continues the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this cultivation case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
