Revenge after 11 years/ the 63-year-old man in Mat kills the person who injured

A 63-year-old man shot and killed a 52-year-old man. After the crime, he called the police and surrendered.

According to the police, the murder was revenge for an old incident 11 years ago where the perpetrator had injured his daughter.

The author of the murder is Islam Meta, while the victim is Petrit Kuka.

Police Notification

On 21.01.2024, in the village of Vig, in Burrel, citizen IM, about 63 years old, killed citizen P. K, about 52 years old, with a shotgun.

The suspected author of this event, after committing the crime, called the Police and told about the circumstances of the event and then asked to surrender.

From the preliminary investigations carried out, it is suspected that the incident happened because the victim, a citizen PK, in 2013, for weak motives, injured the daughter of a citizen IM

The Police Services immediately went to the scene and are escorting the IM citizen to the police station.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event
