The Greek police give the names of the two arrested persons: Bledar Jambelli and Kristaq Leci, while Marsel Shkurtaj was arrested earlier. These two are accused of murdering the commissioner Artan Cuku, the orderer Bledar Jambelli and the author Kristaq Leci.
Neighboring media report that they have been arrested on account of Greek justice, in connection with an incident that took place in the area of Vula, where during a conflict over settlement of accounts between two groups of Albanians outside a bakery on "Ermou" street, they were injured with weapons. 3 people, while 2 others with hard objects.
Who is Bledar Jambelli:
Bledar Jambelli, the person who ordered the murder of Artan Cuk. The 38-year-old paid Mikel Shallari 3,000 euros to kill Artan Cuk, while he would give 22,000 euros to him after the murder. Bledar Jambelli took the photo just a few months before the murder of the chief commissioner, while it is thought that he left Albania, immediately after Artan Cuku was killed at the entrance of his palace on April 10, 2017.
This photo has been distributed to border points in Albania but also to police authorities throughout Europe, through Interpol. Bledar Jambelli allegedly left for Greece after Artan Cuku was killed. Precisely the investigations to find Bledar Jambelli have been concentrated in Greece, but also in Spain, because of the connections that the 38-year-old had.
The Prosecution of Serious Crimes has sent several letters to the Spanish and Greek authorities to discover the location of Bledar Jambelli and has asked them to arrest the most wanted person currently by the Albanian authorities.
Jambelli ordered the murder of Artan Cuk for the reopening of a file in 2012, when the chief commissioner was the Director of the Vlora Police. This file also brought the arrest of Bledar Jambelli, accused of murdering Shpëtim Muka and Ervis Shehu in 1997, known as the "Mezin Well" massacre.
This file was closed by the prosecution, but Artan Cuku found evidence and put Bledar Jambelli in handcuffs. Surprisingly, the 38-year-old was released by the Albanian courts for lack of evidence in 2013. 4 years later, Jambelli decided to take revenge by paying Mikel Shallari to kill Artan Cuk. Mikel Shallari cooperated with justice and confirmed that it was Bledar Jambelli who paid him to kill Artan Cuk.
