A defect in the drinking water network has left the city of Vlora without supply for three days.

The situation has created great concern among residents, who have been forced to turn to public water sources to meet their minimum daily needs.

"Since yesterday we have implemented a solution which has caused another problem. There was a short supply for the Lungomare area and the coastal area. The city is again suffering from water supply, the breakdown is very serious, very severe, which will take its time. We think that at 5-6 pm the supply will start, coming again from the production stations towards Lungomare and then we will provide a solution to the city's warehouse", said an employee of the Water and Sewerage Company in Vlora.

Dozens of citizens are seen in line every day, waiting one after the other to fill water cans and containers, as their homes lack a supply. According to them, the lack of water is making daily life difficult, especially for families with children and the elderly.

"Vlora has been without water for a week, it deserves it. For a people who do not react, who are "sheep", this is what will happen. A people who are not in opposition to the government, it is over," said a citizen of Vlora about this situation.

There is still no official announcement on the deadline for repairing the defect, while citizens are demanding a quick solution and regular supply of drinking water. The situation remains problematic and requires urgent intervention from the responsible institutions.

"We have been without water for three days. We pay our taxes, but we don't get any water. We haven't had a drop of water for three days, we pay our taxes, we pay everything, but we don't have water," said another citizen.
