A fire that broke out a day ago in Fllaka, Durres, where 8 buses were burned, has been referred to the prosecutor's office as accidental.

In a statement, Durrës police explained that initial investigations suggest that the fire was caused by an electrical spark in the battery of one of the buses.

Police announcement:

Following the information provided yesterday regarding the fire in the bus park, where 8 out-of-function buses were burned, we inform that the Crime Investigation specialists of the Durrës Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office as an accidental event, as initial investigative actions suspect that the fire was caused by an electrical spark in the battery of one of the buses.
