A 17-year-old Albanian boy lost his life in a tragic accident in Greece. The serious event that took the life of Enea Topi happened this morning in Kavalla.
He was riding a motorcycle with another person, when the engine got into the wheels of a large truck of the municipality of Kavalle, Greek media reported.
The garbage truck was heading towards the Kavalle municipality landfill, when the young man seems to have lost control and ended up under the wheels of the large vehicle.
The educational staff of the school expressed deep sorrow over the tragic event.
Notifying the school of the death of their student
"Pain overwhelmed us when a while ago we were informed about the death of our student in a traffic accident in the area of Agios Tryphons. Our student is Enea Topi, driver of the motorcycle that got under a garbage truck of the Municipality of Kavalla.
A happy child, loved by all, sportsman, player of our school's football team. May God rest his soul and give courage to the family.
We emphasize once again that children drive their motorcycles sometimes with a license, sometimes without a license, recklessly and with high risk inside and outside the city.
They are not aware of the danger and can suffer at any time. This year school students have been involved in at least 7 serious accidents. The school is in mourning and it's not the first time… Let's hope it's the last.”
