New details are learned from the serious event that rocked Durres, where a 41-year-old woman ended her life after being bullied on social media.
Bedrie Loka, 41, had reported in 2022 to the Durres Police for opening a fake profile, with her name, on TikTok. They were allegedly throwing photos or videos, the content of which is not known, but is thought to have been compromising.
The mother-of-four had sought help from police to close the profile, but that was not until she decided to commit suicide three days ago by consuming photoxy.
The main suspect who opened his TikTok profile and posted the video is the daughter of the victim's aunt. The latter had asked a colleague from Bedrie's work to give him the video, and he sent it to her, unaware of her family connection to the victim.
The 41-year-old man had been in prison in Greece for seven years. She recently told her 21-year-old son who was in Italy that he was going to commit suicide.
On January 3, 2023, she had wished her little girl a birthday and consumed photoxy. Her last words were "in honor of the lord."
