Trafficked migrants, guard caught in Kumanovo

Kumanovo police have arrested a 41-year-old Republic Guard employee on a charge of trafficking migrants.

The 41-year-old was detained as part of a joint operation by the Kumanovo police and the Police Supervision Agency. The guard arrested with the initials I.Q., was caught in flames while transporting 18 migrants from third countries, mainly the Middle East and North Africa, with a van.

In the quality of the material test, the vehicle and a mobile device were seized. The materials in charge of the above citizens passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Degree Court of Kumanovo, for the criminal work "Providing assistance for illegal crossing of the border".
