An Albanian has been sentenced to 5 years in prison by the British court, after being caught for the second time in cannabis farms. It is about 22-year-old Ferbent Hoxha.

He was caught in a "grass house" growing cannabis with a street value of up to £61,000.

Hoxha was previously sentenced to two years in prison, specifically in 2019 for the same crime. After he was released, he was deported to Albania, but he returned to the United Kingdom in May of last year, dealing with drug trafficking again.

Prosecutor Emma Atkinson told the court that the police broke down the door of the property in York Road on July 5 of this year where they also found the Albanian Hoxha in the cannabis farm.

In the apartment where the cultivation of cannabis was carried out, a large number of bags and various equipment used for growing the drug were found. The 22-year-old Albanian was also connected to another cannabis farm in Leeds, where traces of him were also found in the 'grass house'.

According to the prosecution file, it is emphasized that the young Albanian is involved in two different farms in two different cities. He pleaded guilty to manufacturing Class B drugs and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. For his part, the judge addressed the Albanian that "it seems clear that you did not learn any lesson from the previous sentence".
