The Administrative Appeals Court ordered the High Prosecutorial Council to repeat the procedure for the SPAK competition, regarding candidate Ndini Tavani.

In a decision that upheld the lawsuit of the capital's prosecutor Ndini Tavani, the Court of Appeal, as reported by Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha, deemed the decision of the High Prosecutorial Council that disqualified him from the SPAK competition illegal.

Ndini Tavani expressed interest in being part of SPAK, but he was disqualified by KLP members who took for granted the position of the SPAK special commission on the contender.

But now, despite the fact that the Appeals Court granted Ndini Tavan the right to run for SPAK, this prosecutor's office is filled with 20 prosecutors and it remains unclear how the KLP will act in this case.

Another prosecutor has also contested the SPAK race in court, and after losing in the Albanian courts, she has turned to Strasbourg.
