SPAK with NEW EVIDENCE against Meta and Kryemadhi/ Former MP: It's done to
Monika Kryemadhi

The preliminary hearing for the "Meta" file, scheduled to take place this morning, October 28, at the Special Court for Serious Crimes, has been postponed.

The reason for the postponement was the absence of Monika Kryemadhi's defense lawyer.

Judge Irena Gjoka, who presided over the proceedings, decided that the hearing should not continue without the presence of legal defense, setting a new date to be announced by the court.

Meanwhile, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) presented additional evidence at the hearing related to investigations into the defendants' financial activities.

It is a letter of recommendation, coming from the United States.

After the decision, Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani, spoke to the media. He said that the removal of judge Irena Gjoka will be requested, stating that she has given an absurd decision.

"Why does the prosecution continue the investigations, even though the investigations have ended? That is why today we have had tensions with the court and not with the prosecutors, because the prosecutors are within their rights, even though they have violated the law, but we have it with the judge. We will start the battle with the judge, who has made another unprecedented decision, continuing the suspension of the detention terms for President Meta, even though I was present there and wanted the court session to continue. The judge has continued the suspension of the terms again and proves once again that Ms. Gjoka or Maneku is not a capable judge, but politically captured and blackmailable, because she is under investigation. We will continue the battle for the removal of this judge, who compromised this process from the first session," said the lawyer.

Monika Kryemadhi, after the adjournment of the session, also spoke to the media, saying that SPAK's accusations of lobbying are part of Yuri Kim's witch hunt.

"According to SPAK, payments were made to an American lobbying company for LSI, lest we forget that LSI is a political party of a hybrid country in democracy, for which in this case, from this moment on, the accusations of lobbying, for the so-called GIS, do nothing but blame the GIS company, the financial system in the US, which has accepted that money be paid into the bank account of an American lobbying company on behalf of an Albanian political party. The payments, if they have been made, must have official authorization from the decisions of the LSI Presidency or of certain individuals who were, whether the signatory of the contract or the general secretary at that time, which is not the case. Yuri Kim's famous witch hunt scheme will be revealed, which cannot be solved with a scholarship in England for her executioner who has it here in SPAK," said Kryemadhi.

The "Meta" file includes investigations into former president Ilir Meta, Monika Kryemadhi, her mother Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho, and Ema Çoku.

The defendants are accused of various criminal offenses, including passive corruption, money laundering, and failure to declare assets.

SPAK completed its investigations at the end of July, and the case was sent for trial in August. The court's upcoming decision will determine whether the case will proceed to a full trial or be returned for further investigation.

The inclusion of new evidence could affect the further dynamics of the case, which is attracting widespread public attention due to the high profile of the accused.
