Tuberculosis patients in Kamza are treated with expired medications.

This is the latest denunciation made by journalist Osman Stafa, who publishes the medicine's packaging and says that it was used by a patient diagnosed with cancer.

He considers this a criminal act and a health crime with fatal consequences for cancer patients, who unfortunately have to deal with the serious illness and the state's irresponsibility to help them with safe medicines.

" At the Kamza Dispensary, patient TL, who is being treated for tuberculosis, has taken expired medication. The medication expired in July 2025, and we are on September 22. This is a serious health crime, which endangers the lives and health of patients.

The law stipulates that if a private pharmacy is caught with expired medications, it will be subject to criminal prosecution. But when the Ministry of Health does it, everything is covered up with silence, while citizens suffer.

"Distributing expired drugs to tuberculosis patients is a criminal act, which requires urgent investigation and legal responsibility to the end ," denounces journalist Osman Stafa , demanding investigations, given that this department already has a new director.
