The Gjirokastra Court has issued the security measure "prison arrest" for the 3 detainees involved in the serious case of sexual abuse and financial extortion through blackmail with intimate videos, involving a 16-year-old from Këlcyra and two police officers.

In a closed-door session, after hearing the respective parties, the judge decided to keep the three arrested, including a police officer, in custody.

Prison sentences were imposed on Isi Pasha, 26 years old, Pajtim Baka , the minor's stepfather, who is also an agent, and Kristian Prifti, 46 years old. Pasha and Prifti are simultaneously accused of blackmailing the police officer.

Another officer, 53-year-old Artur Ago , who is wanted and the protagonist of the video, was also arrested in absentia and is suspected of having fled to Greece.

One of the officers is accused of harassing his 16-year-old stepdaughter, while the other is accused of having an intimate relationship with the minor and blackmailing her for up to 12,000 euros through information.

The clue to this case was made public through a post on social networks, which immediately led to the launch of investigations by the Gjirokastra Local Police Directorate and the Police Supervision Agency (AMP), due to the involvement of a police officer.

The investigation team has discovered that the incident is related to several videos with intimate content, which were distributed virtually and are in the possession of several young men, friends of the girl.

The three people blackmailed the arrested 56-year-old police officer from Përmet, demanding money from him, claiming that they had an intimate video of him with a 16-year-old girl, SK, who was also his stepdaughter. The amount demanded as blackmail was up to 12 thousand euros. AMP and then the Prosecution deepened the investigations.

Sources from the prosecution indicate that the video shows the two people performing intimate acts virtually. The case was not reported by the officer, but was discovered by other people and referred to the Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office.

In connection with this incident, the Prosecution has issued four arrest warrants. Two of the three people who blackmailed the officer were escorted and arrested with him at the Gjirokastra Police premises, while their accomplice, also an officer, who fled to Greece, is wanted.
