The prominent Albanian dancer, Liljana Cingu, has passed away at the age of 70.

"Lili", as the well-known Liljana Cingu was called, was one of the Albanian dancers, who created a typical personality of hers not only on stage, but also outside it.

Her years, gracefully hidden behind elegant clothes, show a woman who survived the times thanks to her passion for beautiful Albanian dances.

The famous dancer Liljana Cingu dies at the age of 70

Liljana Cingu was awarded the title "Grand Master" by the President of the Republic.

For 45 years she made an irreplaceable contribution to the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances.

Cingu will also be remembered for dancing with his historical partner on stage, the late dancer and choreographer Rexhep Celiku.
