A mega-operation to attack an international drug trafficking network is being developed by Interpol, Europol, the Italian anti-mafia SPAK and the Albanian police.

According to the information so far, 83 people have been put in handcuffs, a large number of them Albanian citizens, who were part of an international drug trafficking network such as cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

The arrests were made in Florence but also in several cities in Spain and the Netherlands.

It is learned that this criminal group has been operating since 2019, when the investigations started, which are still ongoing by the Italian Prosecutor's Office.

Also, it is known that a large amount of cocaine, tools and phones were seized, while the operation is ongoing.
