Father Antonio Belushi passed away today at the age of 90.

Otherwise known as the "spiritual father of the Arbërs", Antonio Belushi had been suffering from a serious illness for a long time, as the news was received with bitterness by the Arbërs community in Italy.

Educated as a cleric, he preserved the values ​​of the Albanian community, the history of the custom and dedicated his being to the people of Arbëresh, with humanitarian activities for Albania, but also a strong voice for Kosovo.

Also, Belushi will be remembered as the author of 25 scientific works on the culture and ethnography of Arbëre.
