Serbia has threatened to withdraw its football team from Euro 2024 if UEFA does not punish Croatia and Albania for what it claims were hate calls against them.
Jovan Surbatovic, the general secretary of the Serbian football association, said they had made a formal complaint about chants of "kill, kill, kill the Serb" during Croatia's 2-2 draw with Albania on Wednesday.
He warned the team could withdraw entirely if European football's governing body UEFA did not act on their complaint.
"What happened is scandalous and we will ask UEFA for sanctions, even if it means not continuing the competition," said Surbatovic.
"If UEFA does not punish them, we will think about how to continue," he said.
