Heavy snowfall has given way to frost. After Saturday, when the main part of the country was engulfed by heavy snow and rain, temperatures have dropped sharply to minus 13 degrees Celsius, causing frost.

In the district of Dibra, the thermometer marked this Sunday -13 degrees Celsius in the Doda Castle area, while in the city of Peshkopia the temperature is -7 degrees. The Peshkopi - Bulqize - Klos road is passable, despite the presence of ice on it. The Klos-Qafë Murrizi segment of the Arbri road remains blocked, due to the snow, which has turned to ice. The passage of vehicles is made from the old axis.

The Peshkopi-Kala e Doda-Kukas axis, passable with chains, had problems in a segment from Qafë Kalaja towards Vasia, due to the strong wind. The Ura e Čerenec-Librazhd axis passable with chains up to the Ostren Administrative Unit, further blocked. A part of the roads of the Administrative units, closest to the city, have been opened, while many of them continue to be blocked. In the municipalities of Dibër, Bulqiza and Klos, which were the most affected by the bad weather, there were no problems with electricity.

The district of Kukës was also hit by the weather with heavy snowfall. The national roads are open, while their salting has been done to avoid the presence of ice on the road. In Kukës municipality, the roads of at least five administrative units are blocked, with the isolation of dozens of villages. In the city of Kukës, due to the drop in temperatures, the snow has turned into ice, becoming dangerous for pedestrians and vehicles.

In the municipality of Has, the roads of Nikoliq and Vlahen villages are blocked, while the Krumë Cahan road is difficult to pass. All other roads are passable. Meanwhile, over 20 villages in Kukës, Has and Tropoja municipalities are without electricity. In the district of Lezha, there were also several areas where snow fell, mainly in the municipality of Mirdita, where there was frost on the road, while the crossing is made with chains.

In Orosh and Fan administrative units, some roads are blocked by snow, while it is reported that there is no electricity in some villages of Lezha and other municipalities. The snowfall has continued throughout the evening, where the temperatures have dropped significantly even in the Korça region. Altitudes above 1200 meters snow has reached up to 50 cm. In Dardë, Voskopojë and Qafa e Qarri, the thickness of the snow has reached up to 50 cm and can only be driven with chains. Even villages like Lubonjë, Vithkuq and Gjanç snow has gone from 30-40 cm. Even in the city, the thickness of the snow has gone up to 25 cm. 

Work is currently underway to clear the road leading to Panarit. Erseke - Leskovik road is problematic. Yesterday evening, some vehicles were stuck at the Barmashi turn. It took the intervention of the fire department in Kolonje to unlock it. Today there is ice on the road. The situation with electricity is serious, where about 1,700 subscribers are without power.

The region of Shkodra has also been affected by the snow, causing problems on the road axes, while the biggest damages are in the lack of electricity. so far, dozens of villages without electricity are reported in all the municipalities of Shkodër District, mainly in the deep areas of the Alps. In the municipalities that cover these areas, the snow has also turned to ice, creating problems in the circulation of vehicles on some roads in Malësi e Madhe, Puka, Fushë Arrëzi and Vau i Deja Municipality. Meanwhile, the rains that caused the swelling of the Išem river, have flooded the agricultural lands in the village of Murqinë in Krujë.
