The French tourist in Gjipe is saved from drowning

On Sunday afternoon, near the rocks of Gjipe, a French tourist was rescued who was in danger of drowning.

It was the vacationers who alerted the border police who, starting from Dhermi, managed to save the 38-year-old from France.

The tourist, identified as Hassabou Elias, 38 years old, with French citizenship, had suffered back problems and could not move his lower body, being unable to swim.

He was rescued in time, transported to the shore and is out of danger for life, in good health.
