Residents of several villages in the municipality of Selenica, part of the Vlora district, held a protest on Sunday morning at the entrance to the village road.

They express outrage over the lack of investment in the road segment connecting the villages of Velçë, Matogjini, Bashaj, Vërmiku and Ramicë, with a length of about 10-15 kilometers, which has been in a degraded infrastructural state for years.

Protesters, with banners in their hands and slogans such as "We want roads", "We don't wait anymore" and "We demand investments", have also blocked the entrance road to the villages for several minutes, demanding the intervention of institutions for its rehabilitation.
