The Tirana police announced that only one protester was escorted from today's protest, which took place in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
The police say that citizen J. Ç., 25 years old, was neutralized and escorted, as the latter was holding a cutting tool in his hand and was making uncontrolled movements.
From the preliminary verifications, the young man, from the village of Gurrëz e Vogël, Lushnjë, turns out to be a person with mental health problems.

Regarding the escort of a citizen, at the end of today's gathering, we clarify the public opinion that: The services of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, in implementation of the tasks of the plan of measures, drawn up with the aim of guaranteeing public order and safety, before, during and after the end of the rally, at the end of the rally they found a citizen holding a cutting tool in his hand and making uncontrolled movements.

We clarify that apart from this citizen, there is no other person accompanied by the Police services and that the gatherers were dispersed without creating problems in terms of order and public safety.
The State Police thanks the citizens for the citizenship shown during the rally and guarantees them that the State Police is maximally engaged to guarantee order, security, freedom and rights of citizens.
