New details are revealed from the accident recorded at noon today near the intersection of the village Drithas in Maliq, where Kujtim Azizi, a resident of Rëmbec, lost his life.

It is learned that the victim was suffering from mental health problems. He had left the apartment and family members had started searching the area.

The driver of the vehicle, Lorenc Tome, also a resident of the village of Rëmbec, when he saw him, slowed down, telling him "go home if they are looking for you".

At that moment Azizi was thrown in front of the car.

This version has been proven by eyewitnesses and statements of family members who requested it, reports Ora News.

As a result of the collision he was seriously injured. Although he was transported to Korça Hospital for treatment, Azizi died at the hospital from his wounds.

The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances and determine the cause of the accident.
