Bujon with hair bleached mostly from pain is found on the second floor of the house in the heart of Elbasan. This is how they call her as a child and this is how they call her, every time someone knocks on her door. She lives alone, since the day her son, well-known lawyer Ravik Gurra, was executed in a mafia assassination attempt in the middle of the city, while drinking coffee with an acquaintance, a municipal official.
"An old lady lives there. "You knock that it will come out, but with a little delay", a gentleman tells me. Knock a few times - he adds - that I believe will come out.
Open the door slowly and take the stairs to the second floor. I knock and wait for my answer. After a few minutes the woman appears petite body. E pakur. Dressed in black from head to toe. We are facing Nurie Gurra, the mother of 50-year-old lawyer Ravik Gurra.
"They closed my life. Everything collapsed for me. They killed my heart. "Ravik did not deserve this", the 78-year-old confesses through tears. It was as if I foresaw the great drama - she says - because last week before Ravik was killed, I could not get out of bed.
"Ravik gave me syrup and juice with a small spoon all that week. "Even before he left and never returned," says Nuria.
"He made a pie, boy, he told me I would go out and come back soon," he recalls through tears.
Ravik, the father of two daughters, never returned alive to his home. In that simple furnished house, but decorated with books and photos. A library house. While drinking coffee in a bar near Tourism in Elbasan, he was shot dead. The darkness helped the author disappear without a trace. It has been more than 3 years since the gruesome event, but there is still no one accused of executing the man of justice.
The ghastly news
How did you find out about the news, Ms. Nurie? I ask calmly. I do not want to hurt her. "A friend took me. He asked me how I was? He apparently realized I knew nothing about the murder and hung up. Then they took me from England. Girl, bride. "They cried a lot", Nuria remembers. She recalls that without yet bringing home the lifeless body of her only son, the police came and turned everything upside down. "They were looking for Ravik's files, not the killers in the Zaranika river," the old woman says somewhat nervously.
Rritëm me shumë vështirësi, vajzën e djalin.
Shkoj te varri, i çoj lule.
A të rrëfej një histori zonja Nurie? – i them qetësisht. Ka lidhje me Ravikun? – më pyet. Po- është përgjigja ime.
"In one of the sessions of the process of Emiliano Shullazi, I kept notes with Ravik's fountain pen. In 10 minutes the fountain pen fell out of my hands three times. He was very upset, but did not complain. When we came out of court we talked for a long time. "Among other things, he calmly told me: 'I want to make him old by feeding Shakespeare reading chickens.' He listened to me in silence. Tears welled up in her cheeks.
"He loved life very much, but they let him live," he said in a low voice. With the pleading voice of a mother waiting with her eyes from the state to give punishment to the man who pulled the trigger and took the life of her only son. We go down both stairs. Follow me. I leave leaving behind a mother with a wounded heart, who will probably close her eyes forever without seeing justice done.
