A 31-year-old Albanian man has been arrested with 14 kilograms of cocaine in Italy.
The young man, whose name is not disclosed, was arrested on the Parma highway. He resided in Mariano Comense, an area in Como, but operated in the Leço area.
While he was under pursuit for a long time by the authorities, the young Albanian was arrested on the highway after 11 kilograms of cocaine were found in his car, divided into several packages.
Another 3 kilograms of cocaine were found in his house after the search. The 30-year-old was immediately handcuffed and sent to a prison in Parma.
If the drugs were to be sold on the market, investigators believe the traders would make profits of up to 2 million Euros. Investigations are also ongoing to find out if there are other persons involved in drug trafficking who belong to this group.
