Orthodox believers celebrated Easter at midnight last night. After about 2 years of absence due to the pandemic, this time, the Orthodox believers have filled the churches in different cities of the country, wishing peace, prosperity and harmony in Albanian families.

In Lushnje, hundreds of believers joined the holy mass of the vigil of this holiday, which was held in the church of St. George.

Even in Elbasan the Orthodox believers celebrated the feast of the resurrection of Christ. At midnight in all Orthodox churches numerous citizens held holy masses on the occasion of Easter, commemorating the resurrection of Christ after Black Friday.

Hundreds of believers gathered in the church of St. Thanas, who closely attended the mass led by the Metropolitan of Elbasan, Slope and Librazhd, Monsignor Andoni. Through his speech the Metropolitan sent a message of congratulations to all believers.

Orthodox believers celebrated Easter in the church of Saint Theodore in Vlora. The Holy Mass was held in the church of St. Theodore in Vlora, while hundreds of believers were part of the title. Constantine the Priest wished him: Happy Easter "Christ is risen"!

In Korça, thousands of Orthodox believers took part in the Easter celebration mass, as a very large number of them were noticed in the largest church in the city. Believers wished peace in the world, prosperity and harmony in Albanian families.
