Police prosecute detergent counterfeiter

The Saranda police have referred the owner of a detergent factory, who is accused of falsifying the products, for criminal proceedings.

The action is undertaken Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime at DVP Struga, within the framework of measures against informality, with the aim of verifying the implementation of legal procedures for the management of industrial products that are thrown into the market, have organised and finalized the police operation codenamed "Acids".

As a result of this operation, the citizen Besnik Garden, 54, was prosecuted in the district of Guerrilla, Kumanovo.

During the control exercised in the subject of this citizen, in Dobrac, with the field of activity production, packaging and merchandising of detergents, the Police services have found and seized in the quality of the material test, various industrial products for which the 54-year-old did not have the relevant certificate of registration of the brand.

From the investigative actions it has resulted in the citizen B. K. producing and trading these products, illegally, subsequently causing damage to the health of their users.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of the Judicial District of The Saranda for further action for the criminal work "The illegal production of industrial and food articles and goods".
