The names of the members of the "Fonzi" gang who carried out robberies in Milan come out, behaving like real climbers, robbing houses by sitting with ropes from the roofs. Four specialists of Albanian origin have been arrested by the police after looting the apartments. Eavesdropping has even been used on them.

" The second and penultimate are closed, but the bathroom windows are open ," one of their conversations reads. Inside one of their cars, the thieves' battery encounters a defect. The 27-year-old Alfons "Fonzi" Cani, 28-year-old Arnoldi "Noldi" Gjoka, 36-year-old Aleksandër "Leksi" Senaj and 21-year-old Klevis "Klevi" Kola ended up in handcuffs.

They are accused of (at least) four home burglaries in Milan in recent days. Inspections were daily in the flats they had set their sights on: The second and penultimate are closed, but the bathroom windows are open.

So after carefully inspecting the dwellings, they climbed onto balconies, or sat on the rope roof. They entered through the window and took what they found, sometimes even pulling out the safe. They did not forget money, watches, jewelry, partly found along with expensive clothes.

But in the car, they also had a 7.65 pistol, which belonged to 27-year-old "Fonzi", who should have been locked in the house after being accused by the Monza prosecutor's office of attempted murder against another Albanian. Albanians placed license plates that were occasionally stolen from other cars, to make tracking difficult. Eavesdropping has revealed that Albanians stole in 4 apartments on June 22-23, climbing from the roof./Corriere Della Sera
