The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has closed investigations into the kidnapping and subsequent execution of businessman Ruzhdi Hoxha, who was found dead on November 6 of last year in Malin me Gropa.
Citizen Fredi Rrushi is charged with "murder", "carrying weapons without a permit" and "disappearance of evidence and a corpse."
Fredi Rrushi was arrested in Tirana on October 26 when it was discovered that his number had received frequent calls to the phone of the businessman whose family had reported him missing. Rushi was initially escorted to be questioned but was detained when the arrest warrant from Italy was discovered. The investigators already have evidence proving that Rrushi took him in the car and took Rruzhdi Hoxha to Dajti mountain and executed him with a bullet to the head.
From the investigations, the vehicle with which Hoxha was kidnapped and the pistol with which he was executed have not yet been found.
